La Belgique est mise à l’honneur lors des Journées Européennes des Métiers d’Art 2026 !
De la dentellerie et des arts textiles en Flandre aux savoir-faire du verre, du métal et de la céramique en Wallonie, en passant par la bijouterie, la restauration de mobilier ancien et la création contemporaine à Bruxelles, la Belgique illustre la diversité et la vitalité des métiers d’art européens et la circulation des gestes au-delà des frontières. L’Institut pour les Savoir-Faire Français travaille à cette mise en lumière en partenariat avec BeCraft, Mad’in Europe et la European Crafts Alliance, avec le soutien de l’Ambassade de France en Belgique.

In 2026, Belgium will be highlighted within the framework of the European Craft Days. This special focus offers a valuable opportunity to showcase the richness and diversity of Belgian crafts and artistic craftsmanship to a wider European audience.
On this occasion, Mad’in Europe, a Brussels-based organisation dedicated to promoting European crafts and know-how, collaborates with the Institut pour les Savoir-Faire Français, the European coordinator of the JEMA initiative. Mad’in Europe will contribute to promoting and highlighting Belgian artisans participating in the JEMA, helping to increase their visibility through its communication channels and professional networks.
BeCraft is also coordinating the highlight. Professional association promoting applied arts in the Wallonia and Brussels regions, BeCraft is a long-date partner of the Craft Days. Ceramics, glass, jewellery, paper, textiles and object design are among the creative fields in which the artists supported and promoted by the association work.
The European Crafts Alliance is also partnering to help with this Belgian focus, and the French Embassy in Brussels supports the initiative.
